Baltic Trip

Hamburg will welcome Rotarians and Rotaractors from all over the world for the Convention 2019. To make the trip to Germany even more worth while we are offering a Baltic Trip for Rotaractors beforehand.

We, the Rotaract Club Greifswald, would love to host you for a week and show you around our beautiful home. Our “Heimathafen” (home port) will be Greifswald, a former Hanseatic city with one of the oldest universities in Northern Europe. From here we quickly get to Stralsund whose historic city is an UNESCO site, the island of Ruegen with its chalk cliffs and many more places. And of course there will be many chances during the trip to experience the Baltic Sea itself. Either from a sailing boat or from different beaches.

Duration: The Baltic Trip will start 24/05/19 in Greifswald and finish 30/05/19 in Rostock just in time for the Rotaract Pre-Convention in Hamburg where we will drop you off.

Arrival: We recommend arrival in Hamburg, where we will pick you up. In case you choose to arrive in a different destination, we will welcome you in Greifswald directly.

Accommodation: In Greifswald Rotaractors will host you. Most of us are students and you might be provided with a simple place to sleep in a student flat. Our hospitality will make up for it 🙂

Program: We will take day trips to selected points of interest. On our way to the Rotaract Pre-Convention in Hamburg, we will spend a day in Rostock with the local Rotaract Club.
